The faith-based morning book club meets the second and fourth Tuesday mornings in a member's home or at a local breakfast hangout (frequently Panera's on MacArthur) at 9 AM to discuss about 100-200 pages of a book each session. We usually complete a book a month. This allows members to be involved with other book clubs and not be overwhelmed with reading.
Some of the titles we have read include:"A Winter Dream" by Richard Paul Evans, "The Book Club" by Mary Alice Monroe, "The Dressmaker of Khair Khana" by Tzernach Lemmon, "The Reluctant Queen" by Joan Wolf and "Secrets of a Charmed Life" by Susan Meissner. We hope you will join us and meet some new friends who share the love of reading. We are a faith based club, so the book selections will always have some sort of message to uplift and inspire based on Christian principles.
We'd love to have new members come! Call Ginny at (972) 506-8714 or Barbara at (972) 401-1816,
