The faith-based morning book club meets the second and fourth Tuesday mornings in a member's home or at a local breakfast hangout (frequently Panera's on MacArthur) at 9 AM to discuss about 100-200 pages of a book each session. We usually complete a book a month. This allows members to be involved with other book clubs and not be overwhelmed with reading.
Some of the titles we have read include: "A Winter Dream" by Richard Paul Evans, "The Book Club" by Mary Alice Monroe, "The Dressmaker of Khair Khana" by Tzernach Lemmon, "The Reluctant Queen" by Joan Wolf and "Secrets of a Charmed Life" by Susan Meissner. We hope you will join us and meet some new friends who share the love of reading. We are a faith based club, so the book selections will always have some sort of message to uplift and inspire based on Christian principles.
WE LOVE NEW MEMBERS! Call Us! Ginny: (203) 257-1274 ~ Rose: (217) 377-7560.
